Cars 10 Most Embarrassing Vehicles

10 Most Embarrassing Vehicles

Quote:
It’s always a risk making judgments based on the initial exposure to a car, and sometimes a vehicle’s ultimate crappiness only reveals itself with the fullness of time. We’re all subject to hype for something that seems new, different, and maybe even better, and in this business, we all feel the crushing pressure to be timely, amusing, and authoritative. Being wrong is always a risk. Still, here are ten award winners for which somebody needs to apologize.

1983 Renault Alliance

2002 Ford Thunderbird

1971 Chevrolet Vega

1997 Cadillac Catera

1985 Merkur XR4Ti

1997 Chevrolet Malibu

1990 Lincoln Town Car

1980 Chevrolet Citation

1974 Ford Mustang II

1995 Ford Contour/Mercury Mystique

Embarrassing? I'd drive most off those. .... Have driven half of them. The Vega was cool. The Chevette should be on there.

Where's the LeCar, the Yugo, the Ford Aspire and the Pinto?
Actually, my first car was a Pinto, so, they're cool.

I drove past the bombed out Yugo factory in 1995ish when I was in the former Yugoslavia. One of our guys owned a Yugo, he wanted to pick up spare parts! LOL!
