Awww a Mercedes.......nothing finer in my opinion. My car was me, a big old sassy woman who would come in low & slow and hug your corners or #### & get when the time called for it. She was born a 1980 280SEL in my favorite shade of blue. I hated to part with her but when window motors start goin out and you find your being nickle & dimed to death it's time to move on.

Now I'm down to a 1994 Ford Taurus LX.

Gees... can't believe I haven't posted here yet...

My primary ride is a red 1990 Subaru Loyale... bare bones -- five speed manual, no a/c, no power windows or locks, not even intermittent windshield wipers. 'Bout as maintenance-free as they come... and by far the best car I've ever owned.

I also inherited my mom's 1995 Ford Taurus eleven years ago, which has lots of bells and whistles... all which are very expensive to maintain (which is why Little Red, as my Subaru is affectionately dubbed, is my primary car). Trouble is, I've learned to really appreciate the a/c in my Taurus.
