I drive an 87 Jeep Wagoneer (cherokee). It's got the selec/command trac (basically selectable all wheel drive) in addition to the regular 4x4 hi/lo. The 4.0 inline 6cyl (I've heard) are reputed to be the most indestructable tank of an engine out there. Provided ya take care of it... Duh. Aside from a not-unexpected front hub bearing going out, the thing runs and rides like a champ. ..... One thing impressed me: When fixing the 4x4 bearing, I learned that the engineering is INCREDIBLY straightforward and simple! None of the silly over-engineered s--t you find with other vehicles.

I am a dodge girl, just love them!

1999 2500 series dodge pick up, quad cab, 5.9 L cummins, 4 wheel drive.
and of course it had the banks system on it! It has 160,000 and other than a fuel injector pump replacement, it has been a nice truck. Pulls trailers great!

Hubby has a 1992 3500 series dodge pick up, 4 wheel drive. It has been converted into a slaughtering truck. Just beefed up the suspension, and put the slaughter box on with the winch, and rails for the meat.

I really like the cab on the new mega cab dodge trucks, maybe someday.............

We also have a 1 ton 1977 chevy p.u. that is at a friends house, he is getting it ready to sell. we never use it so it sat for a couple years .

Before I left Japan, I ordered my wife a 2006 Dodge Caravan. Had 11 miles on the odometer when we picked it up. Now it has over 19K. She uses her van to from house to house that she cleans. With today's gas prices, I chose to get the van with a 2.4L 4 banger.
I had a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am which i traded in this past August for a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire. It has 19K on it as well and thanks to my little 2.1L I can go about 300 miles on about $30 in gas!
