Still have an F-350(turbo diesel of course), but my DD anymore is a 2004 Eddie Bauer Explorer AWD V8. Got it for winter conditions with the idea I wanted something nice. So far, it has been. When I feel conservative, I ride my Honda... motorcycle.

I lived in Northern Ohio when I bought it. And I still go there as well as northeast W VA.

But for the record, during the winter temps get into the 20's where I live in FL. Even S. FL sees 40's during winter. And AWD also helps in the rain or on dirt roads, of which FL has plenty.

I actually know people who wear jackets in the low 70's, but most are good until 60's. I'm still good for 50's and, if it isn't windy, 40's.

Woke up in Clewiston one year and had to knock the ice sickles off the boat. It can get into the 20's as far south as there. Wanna see panic? Be around that part of the country when they predict 20 degree weather. Lots of crops to loose.

LOL... I actually lived in Clewiston for several yrs. It got really cold and even snowed once in 1977... But hey, that ain't normal! I was laughing about how the people reacted. It melted off as soon as it hit the ground, but ice sickles were a product of running sprinkers to protect the fruit trees(it worked). Indeed it gets cold, but it doesn't last like up north(which is good).

Anyway... back on topic... Still like the ExploDer!
