I like that...

I had two of that body style, a 1970 C-10, and a 1972 GMC K-2500.

well the vehicle I drive depends on several things....one the weather, if its snowing and yukky Michigan weather it's always the heaten hauler...aka a buick road master estate wagon...I use it for taking all my dogs to the vet, hauling dirt in the spring for my flower beds and everything in between. Now on a SUNNY , WARM spring/summer day its the Mustang all the way....windows down, raido palying great cruisein music and just having fun!......love to see all the teenagers think they can out "hotrod" me....of course it takes about 2 hours to get her ready to hit the road....ya know the deal, gotta be all shiny and clean. My dad just brought his ford pickup up here for the winter, he wants me to drive it instead of letting it set all winter, so now I can jump in ol'red and pretend to be a "cowgirl"......yesterday with temps in the high 40's and the sun shine I was tempted to get the mustang out, but alas.....had to much work to get done.

luvmyhubby

PS.....now come on guys ya cant blame the clutch on a woman driver....some of us are pretty darn good....LOL.

I seriously at one time thought of getting a Horse and buggy for trips to the store with the price of vehicles, but we ended up with a 2003 Ford F-150 and a 2004 Ford Explorer.

Oh, boy, I have quite the fleet:

1979 Coupe de Ville--the sleeper. 542ci Cad stroker, TH-200-4R OD auto, Tuxedo Black paint, has been completely rebuilt twice. Off the road until spring.

1979 Ford F-350 *deep breath* 4x4 SuperCab XLT Ranger Camper Special. *panting for breath* Even at 22', the name is longer than the truck. It was originally a 400/4-speed truck...now, it's a Fummins: the engine is a 6BT out of a 1994 Spartan delivery truck, with the original 4-speed. It has an old Meyers snowplow & a sander, and after every snowstorm, I spend a few hours blasting all the #### off with a pressure washer. Does this make me crazy?

1974 AMC Gremlin X, factory 304/3-speed car. I paid $50 for it with a bad engine, grenaded transmission, and destroyed interior (complete with wasp nest, complete with wasps). It now has a rebuilt 401 from a 1975 police Matador, a T-10 4-speed, and will probably be getting a nice 6-71 blower this winter.

1989 Olds Custom Cruiser wagon: 307 Olds, runs pretty nicely, power everything, solid body, working A/C, 20' long & 4200lbs...for sale cheap, PM me if interested.

Bought last week...
1995 Chevrolet Caprice Classic wagon. Yes, it has the LT1. Paid $500, with a grenaded transmission (the yahoo I got it from towed a big boat with this big boat). It's a high-option car with rear air-leveling, PASS-key antitheft system, auto-dimming inside mirror, AM/FM/cassette with graphic equalizers, third seat, power windows, locks, & seats, tilt column, power heated side mirrors, rear defroster & wiper--pretty much everything but leather, sunroof, auto-on headlights, tow package, and full digital dash (it has a digital speedo & regular gauges). The trans was rebuilt (along with a new rear main seal & good junkyard flexplate), and it gets registered this week (if I can actually get to the Department Of Morons & Vehicles).

My wife has:
1986 Grand National: 272 stroker, Art Carr TH-200-4R, rollcage, Currie 9" rear...truly a scary-fast car. Her first car.

1986 K-5 Blazer: 6.2 diesel/auto, 4x4, 2" lift, 33" tires, spray-can OD green paint, snowplow, enough cancer I'm contemplating a Bummer body conversion this summer.

1988 Ford Festiva: 1.3/4-speed, 1700lbs, the 42MPG commuter car.

HA, HA, HA ,HA...

That's pretty funny...

My GMC of '72 was one beast of a machine.

-3/4 Ton
-4-wheel drive with gear-driven transfer case
-4 inch suspension lift
-all leaf spring suspension
-1 ton full float rear
-16.5Rx33x12.50 tires.

This thing rode so rough that just holding it together was a chore. I've had starter bolts and carburetor screws vibrate loose. I even had a lower radiator hose fitting tear loose from getting beat to death. With a cord of firewood in the back, this truck was still as bouncy as a 10-wheel dump with 20 tons of stone in it.
