GM fuel injection

What year did general motors get rid of throttle body injection in there pickups?

I know I had a 88 pickup and there was a throttle body on it,but after that I ain't too sure,know for 91 I recall some of the F-bodied cars had a SFI port injection setup...Buddy had one on his 91 Firebird..I imagine this was on most small blocks of the same year and engine family driver...Hope dat helps out

1996 Vortec engines were the first. I believe.

That's a 10-4 above....I believe they had a few different versions of what is commonly referred to as the throttle body though..I know till at least 91 they had the older style air cleaner assembly.They looked a lot like the first gen TB units from above....good info..I know it was hard to say unless ya cracked her open and had a look at what fed the thing though..God bless GM and the interchangeability though,gots a few [yeah they all run...lol]in the driveway that I am quite fond of.....

It was 95, when the Vortec Engines came out. It was another one of those "split years", where you can have either one.
