Batman Motorcycle Gear: Cool or Nerdy?

Quote:
Somehow I can't picture a rugged, tattooed and bearded biker squeezing into this officially licensed Dark Knight armor replica. More like Comic Book Guy riding on a moped. Nonetheless, this Bat-replica for bikers is serious business. It features a heavy-duty Cordura base with four-way stretch inserts, leather and Kevlar plates, internal CE body armor and the classic wrist spikes. Outside of a helmet, you get the whole shebang here—jacket, gloves, pants and boots. And when it finally does go up for sale, I'm sure this caliber of superhero protection won't come cheap.

When I first saw this, I thought it was really nerdy. It's got spikes on the forearms for heaven's sake! The more I look at it, though, the more my inner 12 year old, comic-book reading self wants one.

What do you think? Cool or nerdy?

I guess the question is if they'll have a matching helmet with ears....

The forearms are a little over the top. Other than that it doesn't look too much different from some of the stuff they sell already:

True, but that jacket doesn't have a big Superman emblem on it.

On the other hand, I'd totally drive Batman's motorcycle:

It's just too, too to be nerdy. While it might look cool in a movie; I'd be the first one laughing at the guy that rode up in that ensemble at my local watering hole on bike night.

Nerdy. Fortunately, I'm a nerd!

I sold my ZX-11, but I'm looking into an FJR1300 down the line. Right now my show truck project is taking all my money, but if I ever do get that FJR1300, I might go for something like this.

Now, where do I go to buy a batmobile?
