Very nice! I've had a couple Busa's. I'm rolling a highly modified GSXR1100 right now though.

We're prepping her for the Texas Mile next year. She's done 8.90 in the quarter on the bottle.

I dunno how fast ours are here. But, they don't include driving lessons.

We've lost our share of LEO chasing modified rides.

you know, after watching that dash cam video of this chase, I'm calling BS on the cops and the media:
1. those speeds did not appear to be nearign 150 mph (For the record, I'm been 150 mph + in several times in several different street cars on the interstate, I've even recorded one), I'm guessing maybe 120 tops. I think the reason the cop is claiming 150, is that in order to catch the guy he had to be hitting 150.
2, They claim he was more than double the legal limit for DUI, yet if you look at the way he was driving, the way he was walking, and his comments to the officer. If he was double the limit, he has some serious alcohol tolerance, there was no slurring of his speech, when the officer was directly behing him at speed the car was steady and not deviating, even when the officer was chasing him, granted he never singaled, but his driving was not overly irratic and looked to be quite in control.
3. WTF was that cop driving that he was able to catch up to this guy to begin with. If the speed limit is 60, and he passes the cop at 150, either the idiot slowed down to 60 so the cop could catch him or that cop is driving something that is capable of 180+ mph, which I'm not sure that even in a wealthy state of Tx, the locals (hell TxDPS arean't) are driving a cruiser that can do that.
4. According C&D, R&T the Buick Enclave has a top speed of 120 mph.

Bad Driver! No coffee or donut for you for the rest of the week! I've owned a few older Buicks in my time, though none that did 150mph. MOst of mine were the late 70's-early 80's LeSabres ( both two door and station wagons) and they were some of the best, most reliable, and most comfortable cars I've ever been in.

I'm with you on this one. A total bull#### claim by the officers involved.

Even on video, the zipper line looks like one continuous line at 150 mph. Not so in these videos. I'd believe 75 or 80 in this case. possibly more in some areas.....maybe.

.27 Alcohol levels ... BULL####, I'm on all fours with a .13 level. Not sure how accurate the Breathalyzers are they sell the public. But I'd bet their close.
