Yeah... they are junk. My wife's '96 2500 only has 350,000 miles on the 5.9L gas motor and now the damn thing needs a set of plug wires. Freakin' junky Dodge plug wires that won't even last 14 years!

And don't even get me started on the window motor that only went 13 years before it started to act up a little bit. I'm so freakin mad about it I could spit!

On one hand, Dodge was finally getting it right with the current lineup. The Charger is a great family car, and thumbs up for rear drive and a nice V8. I'd have done away with a few of the other cars, like the Avenger and maybe the Stratus. Keep the Caliber for entry-level buyers.

And lets not even get me started on the Challenger. Omg, that thing is a rolling wet dream! I LOVE that car! However, just like GM did with the Camaro, they are pricing it far too high. Even the base R/T is far more expensive than a loaded Mustang GT, with similar performance numbers.

On the other hand, I'm a fanatic for European cars, and Alfa has some cool things in the works. Not to mention, Fiat.

However, as usual, we'll probably get the watered down POS versions of all of them, and be left to dream of the really cool ones.

It was an unforgivable crime to design the Charger and NOT sell it in Coupe version.

Bad decisions all down the line.

Nah, I think they did alright with the Charger. I did prefer the original concept, but it turned out ok. They did the coupe with the Challenger.

this is what they had planned from the get go. it saves dodge the money from designing and tooling on coming up with completely new vehicle models to meet federal emissions standards. In exchange Fiat gets a portion of the profits through its new stockholdings.
