The picture above and the video are two different cars from what I see....they are different colors.

Nothing is going to happen to this guys insurance...he most likely will not make a claim on the car.

i read the documentary on this one and it turns out that the guy is going to repair this one. He has a fleet of cars not just this and come on if he can afford to buy this car you think he really cares about insurance premiums? he is a car enthusiast and this is one of his favorite cars, he plans to rebuild it and have it back on the road soon...i would too the veyron is the fastest production car and one that i dream about owning lol.

Just to put it perspective ...

You could start a trucking company, of a dozen new trucks/trailers - for the price of that car.

Pardon me for not having too much sympathy for this jackarse ...

I've read several articles on these cars . While you may get up to 250 m.p.h. briefly but you won't go 250 miles in an hour . At that speed that engine will suck the fuel tank dry in 15 minutes . Driving that speed on a highway is insane anyway . If 60 m.p.h. is a mile a minute 240 m.p.h. would cover a mile in 15 seconds . Think about it . There is too much chance on coming up behind 2 vehicles side by side on an interstate or a vehicle entering an intersection in front of you .

Ive had several performance rides that had the Valet switch
which kept the "kids" in line.

I believe the ignition keys are now chipped to limit performance
Valet Key ?

I built a section of road for VW at that facility when they were testing the pre-production Veyrons. I saw several of them run; doing top-speed tests and so on, and I got a tour of the facility, but not in a Veyron, sadly.
