Was looking on their web site and they said experienced drivers average $63k a year. Isn't that low?

Don't overlook when a company says average some make more and some less then 63k.

For a first year experienced driver but inexperienced car hauler I don't think it's to bad. Gotta train somewhere. But with the 2 big union companies doing as much hiring as they are right now I'd look into them first.

    Just my suggestion.

$63k a year is on the low side but many guys make more than that per year. There is some guys making 100k as a company driver. It all boils down to how hard you want work and knowing the areas to run and not to run and where you live also plays into the equation. They require $4500 gross a week on the trucks so at those numbers that is $58k a year.

    Dave R Thanks this.

Yes, I'm agree. I think it depends on the company that you've been working for.

Well anything west of I-65 is a pretty dead area. Your profile doesn't say where you live so I can't really answer your question very well.
Sometimes yes they tell you where you are going but you can also pick loads from yards where you load. Basically if you are in say Marysville and load towards Chicago you can reload from Elwood headed back east to OH IN etc but there is always exceptions.
