Just finished my first week training last week. I've never hauled cars but am liking it so far, I was doing foodservice before this and prior to that had my own truck for five years and have had my cdl for @11yrs. I was put on a truck hauler hauling the big stuff but like it so far. I was able to load my truck on my own on my fifth day in @2-2.5 hrs which I'm told is nothing to be ashamed of. Plan on doing this for quite awhile as I like it so far and am happy I made the the switch to this part of the industry. Just figured I'd post a hello as I've been lurking reading posts here for about amonth.

Thank you much for the update, glad you're liking it.Sure beats the everyday reefer and van.I hauled exotic cars for a few months. That was quite the exp.
realsimple Thanks this. -
Keep at it. It gets easier with time as you get more experienced. The $$ makes up for all the headaches. Just make sure you inspect the units deligently. Best advice I ever got from a veteran car hauler 1) it's not what u know but what u can prove 2) you are only as valuable as what you haul. Be safe
