I've been a Class A cdl driver in the west tx oilfields but may have a niche to make money driving for myslef, moving inventory, motor homes etc.....
My father designated me as his travel companion with American Airlines since he's single and I'm his only child. Over Thanksgiving break my former company had me fly to Chicago to Ryder Corp where they had purchased a truck and I bob tailed back to Dallas and they paid me only 500 dollars for this but my wheels started turning. I was able to fly there for free and it took me 14 hours drive time but the guy at Ryder told me they paid their subs about $1100.00 to do this same work I did for $500. I have a meeting with Ryder next week to see what their requirements are for me to move inventory for them since some of their inventory gets piled up at one location and they need it moved throughout the USA.
Hopefully this Ryder thing will work out for me and they can keep me busy, but if not are there some other ways I could cash in and take advantage using my cdl and my advantage to fly for free?
Possible Car Moving Niche or Inventory moving niche...please help...ideas??

The hands that do that moving trucks around have to provide their own fuel in most cases. Ryder might pay 1100 bucks, but the driver furnishes the diesel. Or at least it was that way.

what places should I check with to find out if they have work for me for drive aways>>?? I know Ryder obviosly but who else should I talk to ?? I don't mind paying for my own fuel if you take out the airfare out of the equasion I could potentially make 600-800 per day

This ought to be good.....

Man sounds promising specially if you like flying and get it for free. Good Luck

For cars the driveaway companies do not pay to have the car driven, they allow you to use the car and drive it instead of purchasing transportation. With trucks you need a transit plate and a lot of insurance, an Ifta account etc...The RV transporters have driveaway divisions You might be onto something, I would look at companies like Arrow Truck Sales.
