Talked to a guy that was adding a third 7k axle to his two axle wedge to increase the gvwr. Has anybody done this and how would u go about getting it recertified from dmv (nc) to be legal. ?

Not exactly that but similar. Hired Barney Rebels son to go out to the trailer tag with some number stamps, Bam Bam. Then asked to increase the GVW, with no problem that's $14. Also have been at war and registered vehicle in another county I own property in. In my state a title is required for trailers of 20 or 22,000 GVW. do you have and or need one? Be smarter than me, talk to your county tax commissioner or supervisor, find out the requirements and be prepared.

Ive never had to recertify my rigs before (MT) Basically.....if you can "bridge" it....you can haul it.....as long as you purchased a big enough GVW from the states im registred in.
