, Well so far I can cross off cottrell, sunvalley, suncountry, chapperal(which built my custom flats and has been bought out by doonan and they are not interested).
Also no go with Hart , kauffman, transcraft, jet,and JM is out of business, flats and boxes are easy, seems less in auto haulers, where is hooper at?

Kind of wonder if liability isn't too much these days? Years ago a couple of welders just built stuff that worked, now designs go off to engineering firms to cover the mfg's rear end.
Not sure what kind of stack trailer you are looking for, but Miller will make some changes. They finally ditched the belly lift for a fold flat floor if that helps.

Appreciate the info LBZ, I am looking to have several trailers built specifically for a manufacture that we haul haul for. In a nut shell I am looking for a VERY short neck 5th and a VERY long lower/upper deck, with "drive thru axles" and a straight upper deck that can collapse all the way down to haul larger vehicles back, kinda sorta like a strap trailer but way different dims.
It seems the biggest huddle has been the axles, just about everyone uses the conventional dual tandem setup and you have to go over the tires, I am wanting triples single to drive thru the tires, I need the space. For years JM used this setup but they went out of business in 2008

Thanks again,
Stan

Try Felling out of Sauk Centre, MN. And what about Featherlite and Kentucky?
