I cannot imagine that those weekly #'s are true. Woodhaven traffic is fed by the rail, hence basically local/shortline work. GM, Ford, and Chrysler are not stupid. The competitive rate was always based on an 8 unit load, and column 1 being cars, col.2 being 1/2, 3/4 ton trucks, and col. 3 the 1 ton, DRW, etc.

I don't know how much work this carrier has, but I do know that you better have some real carhaul equipment if you think you are going to keep up with rail unload. The train is coming, every day, 7 days a week, and there better be sufficient lift off the ground to fit the next train, etc. etc. Also, the key to efficient truck loading is for the rail unloader to bay the units regionally. If there is no room, they will shotgun the yard on you just to get the train empty. Then it takes several days to a couple of weeks to get it back to regions. You wind up with drivers walking all over the yard to find their load.
    I'll wish MJW Lotsa Luck.

On the FMCSA website, MJW shows 1 truck with interstate authority. No intrastate authority. I'd love to know how this is gonna play out.

There has been quite a few up there that thought they were going keep going and going till the shuttle runs out. I wouldn't go that route since once things are back in place again he will be standing around looking for work which would hurt your pocketbook.

"If it sounds to good to be true, it is." I would call and listen very carefully, but this sounds too good to be true.
