Ok, Here's the question I have.
My Dad passed away this week and I now own a 1999 Lincoln Town car. Great condition inside and out.
We are currently using it to do all the neat stuff that as the only suriving heir gets to do.:biggrin_25512:
So here the deal. I will be loading up a bunch of his things and taking them to the Davenport, Ia. area.
Then driving the car back to Vermillion, Oh to get our trk and go back to work.
I'm setup to get a ld. on the 2nd of Sept in Pa. going to Wy.

So here's the question. How much would it be for a carhauler. NOT a Uship type of unit..
to move the car from Vermillion to Davenport, Ia?
There is a trking company lot where we have our trk. parked at now. So there is plenty of room to ld. the car. Right off a main hwy. No side street pickup in some tight spot. Jack Cooper and Cassen drivers park here,as some live in the area.
Del/ would be only Monday thru Fri. from 8am to 5pm in Davenport,Ia. near the Flying J trkstp.
This will be a side street Del. but at a trk. repair shop.

I'm thinking it would be a Sat. or Sunday pickup.
Not fully sure yet, but just trying to work some things out on moving the car.
Thanks.. I have no time to ld. it on my lowboy and then come back for my other deal I have to do..

I can get it for you if you want Carl, no big deal. As long as you don't require "exclusive use" of my trailer ! :biggrin_25517:

the gambler, 281ric and SMTatham Thank this.

No not Exclusive use. But no ramps or dock at either end..
I also asked one of my buddies if his wife wants to drive it to Davenport. He will be on this rig move we have coming up.
Got word on that today late..
Remember this car will take about 20' of space on your deck. It's a tank. lol Pimp wagon...

I have 16' ramps, pull a step, have auto tie down gear. Not trying to make a sale here or anything, but I wouldn't of said I'd do it if I couldn't do it. lol.

Oh and this will not need to be tarped. lol

Back when I ran a roll back I put plenty of cars from ground to deck or deck to ground , we used to charge flat rate " on site move " was $50 bucks back in 2009 , if it was reasonably close to our area , mine had a wheel lift that could raise the tail of the truck or could tilt down to a step deck easy ,

Sorry to hear about your Pop. Do you have a friend or relative you could store it with then come back for it with a U-Haul dolly or trailer weeks or months down the calendar ? Just asking.
