I know there is another thread about this but this shop is above all. Q5 Communications at the shell on I-94 and WI-51 Near madison Wisconsin. They have been working on all types of radios since 1975 and they ARE the best in the business!!! They do AWESOME work and have very fair rates as well.

The CB Shop In Callahan Florida is a #### Good Shop. Ive Gone There For 15 Years For My Radio Needs
-
I said it in the other thread but the best for me is the 163CB Shop I-40 eastbound side at exit 163.They never close they have a new fresh Bench Tech on duty with a female cashier every eight hours to answer questions on channel 19 from however far your radio will reach.
Free coffee and cookies 24/7/365 big parking lot they will welcome you to park and sleep there as well.Truly some of the friendliest people I have met on the road.
Some of you guys might know the owner when he had a shop on top of Mounteagle,TN.but he is in Dickison,TN. now and lives next door to the CB shop. The owner is originally from Long Island,NY.he has a two day 48hr.long BBQ driver appreciation every summer also. -
Ray in Elkin NC has been around radios one way or the other since the late 50's early 60's. He works on all types of radios form old tube radios like Collins,Browning and Hummarlund to the newest radios on the market,he also works on amps from the smallest tube amps to the largest and used to build the Elkin tubes amps made back in the day. There is NO ONE better in the US and there is no one that has his reputation of high quality work and customer service!
In the last 15 years of being in this hobie a driving across the U.S. i have yet to find a better shop anywhere!rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
the best is the penn 80 in milton. real old timer tuned my radio and made it sound sooo crystal clear its amazing. i have a 200 watt amp on that radio and its so super clean.....

Gotta tell ya... Roser Radio at exit 10 on 70 ( Eaton, Oh) is the BEST OF THE BEST!! He's been in business 43 yrs. And been at his shop at the TA for 34 yrs.now...This guy fixes it all- does it all- and does it while you wait AND WATCH! no hiding ur cb or laptop around a corner to chop it up then charge ya an arm and leg for it! Great prices. Great business ethic. He's on call 24/7. Lives 6 mikes from.the TA so if his shop is closed ...just go to the fuel island and have them gals call him. Wife and I have him.work on our cbs and our laptops...If he can't fix it- then it can't be fixed! **HIGHLY RECOMMEND***

Not really a reply but I'm new to this forum stuff. Anyhow, I have a connex 3300 hp but idk if it's MOSFET finals or not. My problem is the radio sometimes loses all rx and idk if it gets out at all because nobody can talk back. If I give the radio a little tap it will come back but very briefly. The power never goes off just the rx. Oh and sometimes when I key up when it loses rx, the tx light will strobe red to green. Could anyone tell me what this could be. Antennas and coax are fine as I have swapped trucks several times and still the same problem
Thanks for any ideas -
