Could some one help me please. I just purshase a brand new Stryker 490hp from Walcott CB Shop in Walcott,Ia. I bought the radio and had them peaked n tune
    TX POWER AT 2/25 WATTS
PEAK POWER 120 WATTS AS MEASURED ON BIRD WATTMETER
    RX AT .5uV

My problem is I took my Galaxy radio off and hooked my Stryker on, but it sounds real weak and gets out only about 1 away, when my Galaxy 45watts gets out about 8 miles. Do I need to reset the SWR on my antana or is there a problem with my new Stryker. Could some one please help me

As long as the antenna location has not been messed with and as long as the antenna was reading a 1.5:1 on the old radio, you should be ok....however i'd at least do an SWR check to ensure the new radio doesn't have an issue with the coax jack.
