    How did you mount it?

Ran my own coax, opened up the hole on the side of the cab where the factory coax goes through so that the new coax would fit. Then I took the factory perch apart to where it was just the flat metal plate, drilled two holes in it and mounted an L-shaped bracket on there and then mounted it back on the side panel. Tested with an external meter and good to go.

    foxy wench Thanks this.

I just got a 2011 myself and I was gonna use their mounts just replace the antennas and run some good coax. It looks like you have to pretty much dissemble that whole cabinet behind the drivers seat removing it from the wall.

How much of a hassel was it to remove all of the cabinet away from the wall behind the drivers seat? It looks to me you need to do that to get to the mount on the inside:biggrin_25510:

That is a good question so I'll bump this and see if we get an answer. I've looked at it and it is more than I want to tackle since I slip seat. I believe that is exactly what I would do If I drove the same truck all the time.

This is the best performing solution I have found so far for a low mounted antenna to reach up to 13'6" with a center load above the roof of the cab.
