Has anyone had any work done by the CB shop in Temple, TX? Know anyone who has? Shall I send mine to sparkys? Any input will be appreciated.

How often do you get towards Longview, TX? I've used a shop over there with good results.

    CallMeArty Thanks this.

The Shop on exit 299 -- Hwy 95 & FM 93 has always done my work. He thought the exit 306 guy. but the exit 306 is way too HIGH on $$$.. ITs a hard place to find but i live right off HWY 36 and is only 2 miles from me so its easy to get too. JuST saying they the best in Central Tx area. Ive been to the other places in town. there a rip off.

The owner is a rude ### that makes it abundantly clear if you don't like his attitude he doesn't need or want your business. He will tell you that directly. I have no idea what abilities he has with radios because you can't get past his ranting to get him to work on them. If he was any good I planned on using him for our fleet. But as he told me "I don't need your business, or your drivers. Here's your change and theirs tge door." All of this because I wanted to pay with a comcheck. I drove 30 minutes to an arm to fix up a driver in a pinch and offered him our fleets business if I could register Comchecks for my drivers to pay him when they needed service. We require good radios hauling large oversize loads to communicate between our trucks and pilot cars. He became belligerent and rude at the very concept. I spent $589.11 to get one pilot car driver back working that was under the gun but he lost several thousand dollars a year in business from us.

There's a better one. then the Exit 306 in troy.. GOTO Temple on loop 363 Will do a good job. and works very late evenings. Never COMPLAINS LOL. Lowest prices in TX.. . They have been in that location for over 21 years..
They only other place to go was Drive Shaft in Waco TX but he has since passed away 10 yrs ago.. ironically its his step nephew that has the Shop in Temple..
Best thing Doesn't charge any Bench Fees or anything to check SWR..
will tune up a radio for FREE too.
    worth a try.

This guy is a total jerk. He has a travel trailer and I assume the only business he gets is at truck stops on the weekend. No one in central texas deals with him. He is rude rude rude.
