Thats a good question, or are the RFX 75 all the same and doesn't matter what radio they go on ?

Ok so the instructions on this is somewhat vague at times and being a noob doesn't help but I'm determined.
When it says remove D8 from the board and solder the yellow wire in one of the holes does the other hole just remain empty or do they assume replacing D8.
N00B question I know but it says nothing about replacing D8 and nothing else is said to go where the other end of D8 was. -
Also when it says remove the capacitor at C10 and the blue wire from the rfx75 are they referring to the capacitor at C10 on the board or on the rfx75
-
I would google it to find out where they go. I see no 1 is replying, I don't know myself, I had it done at the C.B radio store in Ontario Ca. so they could match it to my radio.

I had mine done on my new radio coming tomorrow. I have an extra rfx 75 I'm putting on a 25 ltd classic that I brought back to life. Thing is there are wires and capacitors that get removed/not used depending on what you are installing it on. I figured out they mean on the rfx75 itself as it and the blue wire are not used when applying it to this particular radio.

All downhill from here. That wasn't bad once I got into it. Just need to replace R53 with a 470K ohm, ¼ watt resistor, retune it, then throw it on a meter! I have to get my ### to bed tho. I'll post the results here this weekend.
I'll be letting this screamin' little gem go for a buck 25 btw. -
cbtricks.com has a complete walk though on the rfx 75. Still requires a little thought.lol
Diesel Dave Thanks this.
