| Re: CB radio to walkie talkie well, what i'm trying to say is sometimes me and my family go on trips and take 3 cars. my dad and uncle both have hand-held walkie talkies that they use to keep in contact with eachother while on the road. could i use my CB Radio to talk to them at all? a certain channel or something? |

| Re: CB radio to walkie talkie What you are talking about are the FRS and GMRS radios. They work in the UHF portion of the radio spectrum........460MHz....a very long way from CB's 27MHz........... BTW, They are cheap and work much better then CB.
