Re: What Cb Channel Is It

Most shippers and receivers will have a sign on the gate or near the entrance stating what channel they use to communicate with drivers. Yesterday I was working at Cargill in Hammond In, had to stay on 17 to communicate with the scale and guard shack, Nabisco Toledo uses 14, Newlywed's in Chicago uses 35, etc...

9 is considered the emergency channel, and 19 is the common channel for trucks to use for traffic and info.

9 can also be used for traffic info. Chanel 9 is the only channel designated for a purpose by the FCC.......That means that no group owns a channel.
