Hey! Somebody said that a CB radio wave is about the same as a microwave. Is that why I can feel the heat from my MonkeyMade from inside the cab? One last question. Are you AKA "Radio Ray"? |

Reckless and unwitting use of excess power is more likely to make a monkey out of those who treat it foolishly---a DEAD one. Read up on what microwaves can do to the human body. HIGH wattages at lower frequencies are also suspect according to scientists. All those "watts" may contribute to a mysterious onset of cancer later in life. It has been shown that high RF power heats up cells of the body. Amateur operators who ARE allowed to use high powers are required to use certain formulas to check that their radio setups do not adversely affect THEM or OTHER innocent people. The unwitting and unwise obsession with wattage is sad really. ************************************************** ****** Quote:
