Got a Galaxy 66 Great Radio in my 03 W900L Daycab, traded for a T600 going OTR, go to hook up my CB, and BAM, what am I seeing, 2 coax cables coming in with nothing joining them together??
They have connectors on them and they will not either one fit into the coax opening in the back of my radio??
This Galaxy has the side mounted mic and man the opening for the cb mount is not wide enough for this either?
Any suggestions on how to fix this? Really hate to get rid of my Galaxy as it is a great radio!
Hook Up problems? PLEASE HELP!

they make a splitter for the 2 coax ends, it will have 2 small female ends for your coax in the truck, then the 1 pl259 for your radio. you use to be able to get them at some of the truck stops but I havent looked lately. me personally I would run 1 antenna with a good coax. If you are talking about the overhead console that slides down, I believe you will have to do some modifying with a jigsaw/dremel/hacksaw to make that galaxy fit. Might even have to get creative!

bungie cord it to dash. really. one end if defrost vent other down around bottom somewhere, might need 2 cords. works on Volvos and F/Shakers. dont know about Petes
or try taking mike cord off put and see if you can still get fingers in to hook up. I usually can't ,have '94 Cobra 29. side mike cord -
look at other mount options and run a single coax
