Help 2 Getting west coast better than locals

For a little over a month now I've been picking up signals from mostly CA and WA better than any local signals? Why is this?

Set-up is Cobra 29 LE, Belden coax, Wilson 2000. Run dedicated IN to OH run.

Yep, what you are hearing is called skip. It's very common on CB radio and it comes and goes every 11 years.

The skip I've been picking up seems to come from Mexico. Can't understand a word, but man they've been LOUD.

Channel Jumper, tropo ducting is usually more a function for VHF and higher freq stuff. This skip is just normal propagation for 11 meters related to sunspot activity, which had been way down for an extended period of time, and now has finally increasing to it's cyclical peak levels.
