In north jersey today and heard a recorded message being repeated on channel 19 saying it was the fcc and they were doing a crack down near port newark. Guys were talking yesterday saying that some guys got busted. I hope they get that !@#$%&* foghorn that's allways blasting up here. Big radios beware

Why would they announce it? Surprise SWAT raids are Obama's modum operandi.
Look how they raided Gibson Guitars.semi retired semi driver, x#1 and SheepDog Thank this. -
That would be nice if it's true. But it was probably the guy with the foghorn playing the message.
SheepDog Thanks this. -

Drivers have gotten busted a LOT--especially for being on 28.085 AM which they think is their "private", or "truckers' channel" for their exclusive use. Mostly by aggravated hams who turn them in---sick of hearing their illegal interference. It's not prejudice against truckers, just the ILLEGAL use and interference they receive. Ten meters is NOT "yours". Stay OUT unless you want someone to turn you in. It's just that simple.

I'd like to know by what order the company was cited. Also by what order the company was fined.
Secondly, must be some super fox hunter to catch a mobile.
How about giving us the FCC citation order.
