I will be switching trucks hear pretty soon, and i want a easy instilation for my radio into it. The problem is im on the road right now and is unable to look at my cb. My question is will this http://www.rightchannelradios.com/3-...r-adapter.html fit into the galaxy I bought? I really would like to have it right when I switch trucks so i'll be set to go. If anyone could help me out id sure apreciate it!
Thanks,Zach!

Yes it will work but you would be better off not using the Cig lighter as a power source. Most trucks have the positive and negative power poles to supply power and ground. They are better then using the cig lighter since the cig lighter sockets don't hold onto the plug real well which causes issues with intermitent grounding or power. Not good for the radio.
But most CBs including the Galaxy CBs, Cobra CBs Uniden CBs etc use the same 3 pin plug. The only radios I have run into that don't use this plug as some of the high powered "export 10 meter" radios such as my Connex 4600 turbo.

Yep...It will work with that radio, or just about any other CB Radio for as that go's...Just don't use one with a high powered 10 meter (export) radio or you will be blowing fuse's every time you turn it on...
