    First off I am NOT bashing Clay's Shop just looking for some honest communication !!! After hearing good things about them I ordered a Galaxy 98 from them on the 1st of this month. E-mailed them a while back and was told they were backed up in the shop ( NO problem, I told them ) I e-mailed them again and checked on the staus and was told it had shipped and was in transit to me on 10-16. It is coming usps priority mail from Texas to Nebraska. Still no radio and no communication ( e-mail or answer on the phone ).

    I know his son has posted on here before but don't remember his name. When I get my radio I will be the first to give them a thumbs up.


    IF I am out of line bash away, just don't like having that much money in somebody's hands with no contact.

    I also tried to call them and no answer quite a few times So when I bought my new radio it was NOT from clay's. there costumer service SUCKS !!

    Clays is right here in Weatherford. He is open everyday. I know his business has gotten busy and is having trouble hiring techs. I bought a Galaxy 10 meter 2 months ago. He stopped and set it up right there. UPS came by and picked up about 40 packages and delivered about the same while I was waiting. He also has a contract with Halliburton to build radios for their oil patch rigs. Don't know about your woes. But I don't blame you for not waiting.

    Priority would have been there days ago. So for all that money another 3 bucks was not spent for delivery confirmation and insurance? No tracking number? I have 3 different items (from 3 different sellers) totaling under $30 coming from China right now and with tracking I know where they are.

    I did get my radio yesterday !!! Shannon said she had been trying to e-mail me but they kepy getting returned to her for some reason. I'm not sure why it wasn't shipped when I was told it was ? All in all just a little slow in getting it and not real good communication for having several e-mail accounts and phone numbers listed on their web site. I haven't got a chance to put it in yet but I will report back on how well it works. I guess if you are going to order something from them I would suggest actually talking to them and NOT just getting it off the website..

    Do not patronize this business. Poor communication, even poorer service. Does not live up to what they say they will do. Does not care about customer after they get your money.

    The last time I used his shop they put me off frequency on SSB quite a bit. Hopefully they have gotten new equipment. I went there years ago when they were in the other town next to the Texaco I think it was.
