Some of the SC and NC Troopers still have them.
I know from setting in their passenger seat waiting on my driving award......lol!

As for RA, I guess they are "Hit and Miss", because I have also herd all the horror storys about Mike and his "Whacky-Pack" radios, but I also had bought at one time a General Lee from them and got nothing but compliments when I had the radio...Never had any issues what so ever from it.
I always just take what I read on the internet on some of these cb shops with a grain of salt since everyone has their own opinion of who does the best work...It could be to, that it may depend on "Who" at any shop does the work on the radio you get, as to how well they perform...Lot's of shops will have several different techs, so depending on which one does the work you may get a good deal, or you may get someone that just finished his 3rd shot of Jack Danial's poking his screwdriver in the back of your radio.
