Someone told me it was a fuse that blew and needs to be replaced, I heard the red lead is where the fuse is located at or the rear of the cb radio but I don't know what it even looks like. Also I heard it could be the diode, just wanna get my cb working again, it's a brand new cobra 29 LSX. If someone could show me what I'm looking for so maybe I could get a new fuse or diode and solder it on I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
CB won't turn on.

Chances are it is the fuse.. Behind your rig the red wire should have a white plastic connector that twists apart. Inside is a Fuse. Just replace it you can't tell its OK just by looking at it. If you don't have a fuse, temporarily just for listening!! You can use a thin piece of tin foil from a cigarette box. (Just the foil not the backing paper) tear a piece off and gently wrap it round the fuse so both ends are covered. ASAP change the fuse for a new one and keep some with you. Fuses normally blow because of a short, a loose connection could also be the problem. If a replacement fuse blows have it checked out. A short can cause a fire...

Thanks that was the info I was looking for. Where are some places where I can buy me some cb radio fuses?
-
I do have a loose connection so that must be the culprit, have to do something bout that.

Truck Stops, Radio Shack possibly Walmart, just take the old fuse with you and ask for a replacement packet..

those are just auto fuses, you can buy them just about anywhere.

Alright, time to do some fuse shopping then.
