There is one there, maybe more, I think it was at the tire shop just south of the Pilot and TA on 163.

If I remember the road right.

The guy gets on the CB when he's working.

Oh, cool. I had a suggestion for a good shop if you were going near the columbus area at some point, but I doubt you will be. Sorry. :)

There are CB shops in the area. The one already listed near the corner of SR 420 and SR 163 in the Shrader Tire shop building. Opinions vary on the quality of his work and he only takes cash "donations". He doesn't like paying taxes, I do not blame him there and he has had some FCC issues (fines) from selling "illegal" equipment, bought some things from him and had a wire re-soldered in a RCI I had years ago.

There was one upstairs at the Fuel Mart across from the T/A and Pilot but he has moved to the upstairs of the T/A due to the Fuel Mart being torn down (re-building). I've had limited experience with him but again, opinions vary, some guys I've worked with swear by him and others aren't happy, kind of like drivers and companies. I've only had him re-wire a mic so that's my only experience with him.

There is another shop off the beaten path a bit that I do not believe one can get a tractor/trailer into in Millbury, Ohio, on SR 795 in the old school building. Go East on 795 from I-280 about 3-4 miles and take the first left in Milbury, Main St., the school building is on the left (west) side of the street. It's Jerry's CB Center, 28025 S. Main St. Millbury, Ohio. 419-836-5983. He's been in business over 20 years and is my go to shop. There is a decent sized fuel stop at the junction (northwest corner) of I-280 and SR 795 to drop your trailer at if you want, if your allowed.

Thanks Slow Poke, I saw Jerry's when I did a yellow book search on my phone. Didn't know what the consensus was on him. Figured I had better ask I generally pass through at least once or twice a week. Got some plans in my head of what I want to do with my CB and truck figured I had better find the places first. The wife bought me a new CB a month ago when my old one finally gave up ( nothing fancy just a Cobra 29 lx)
