Well someone make up their minds on who gets the point...
No matter what anyone sez the rfx helps the 29ltd do 120 watts with 16 dead key..
Seems that if its all bs as its somewhat suggested ,there are a few you tube vids that need debunking and atleast two people here sayin their radios were doin that kinda pwr..
If its not possible then the cb techs have all gotton together for one huge rfx scandle...

It actually kinda ticks me off a lil though cause my stryker is supposed to be doin about the same and i paid a lil more for the stryker...Yes i know stryker has more options and all..

If I remember right, the stryker 955 is only doing 60watts while the other strykers rated @ 90+

Thats stock rateing yes but rick from ricks radio at the petro in carlisle tells me its been converted and power increased to about a buck 20 across the board..Give or take a cpl..
He has all thst fancy equ to tune and align with knowlage/degrees to use it..Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
I've come to the conclusion that rather than trying to make a radio do far more watts than stock and possibly compromise quality in the process with dirty watts or falling victim to so called mods that don't work, it's better to leave the radio stock and drive a kicker with it or get an amplified radio. The RFX75 on the 29s we had are going to put out far more than anything we could do to a general lee or 955. Just my opinion but it you have to admit it makes sense.

Dude, in my 35 or so years of messing around with CBs and radio equipment, I have heard and seen a lot of things claimed, one thing has been getting oodles of power out of a device that can only deliver so much, that's why I say - prove it.
But no disrespect to GL there, I don't care what he gets because as long as he's happy with what he has, its ok because all of these radios have not changed in those 35 years and form a design standpoint, they are not the best they could be.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -

Seriously I said that about power not about the radio producing the same amount of power - the rfx does help with power out, so does putting 16 volts to the radio and so does hooking it up to a broadcast amplifier to produce 15kw.
OK the way the radio sounds doesn't matter much if it is setup right, the cheapest radio can be made to sound like an broadcast radio as much as the more expensive ones.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
It helps the 29 and 25s tremendously. The 29 puts out way over 100 watts with it. Good clean audio too. Go figure huh? And yes, my general will put out hundreds of watts of good clean audio with an amp if the radio is set up properly which mine is. So what's your point again? Jealousy maybe because you can't get yours putting out that kind of power cleanly? Maybe I can point you in the right direction son.

I figure somethin musta been done right with my 29..I sent and rec 20mi..I know where the the other guy lives and i went based on mi markers to get my claim..Many many many have said how clear my radio is as well..I have been ask a bunch of time to sell the radio but wouldnt at the time, now is a different story..lol one fella asked me to leave my doors unlocked and he would uninstall that radio for free for me..Yeap 20 mi of clean clear audio the fella that fixed mt radio did it right i guess eh..Maybe my $10 fet is on roids..
Same guy set up my 955 as well, its somethin i did or didnt do as to why im not gettin any distence cause i have changed so many things..When i figure it all out,ill be good.A amp is later down the road and ill get a few $10 fets on roids..Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
