True, but if they come here and ask, I can hook them up with one of the best. He has been at over 40 years and has forgot more than most have ever known. :D

mike5511..... We're not very far from each other. I live in the north central part of Arkansas and will very likely start working for Tyson within the next month or so if all goes well. I am definitely interested in a future visit to the tech you're referring to. The tech that I've used in the past is in Harrison/Bellefonte.

    Right Channel Radios

    www.rightchannelradios.com

I've bought a few radios, antenna's etc. from them. Very quick shipping and have never had a problem. They have a lot of instructional and equipment reviews onsite too. They carry numerous brands and have stock radios and tuning available. Check it out.

Copper is the best place online for prices. However they are limited to what they will do in the way of mods and upgrades. I heard they were scrutinized by the FCC a while back. They sell amps but prominently post they are for medical or scientific use only. LOL!

I wonder if my doctor buys his amps at copper? I'll have to ask.

My brother drove for Tyson until he got custody of his son and had to quit and play Mom. And you have been to the best Tech I've ever know. :D

Razor3 if I am right the Tech mike is talking about is the exact one in that area if I remember correctly. Going to try and get up there sometime and see about getting my radio checked.

Awesome. That's good news as I'm only about 45 mins from Harrison. Seems like the last time I drove by his shop he had a closed sign during business hours hanging up. I heard he might be mostly part time now? I need to get his number the next time I'm over that way so I don't make a trip to drop a piece of equipment off and him not be there.

How long has it been since your brother worked at Tyson? How long was he there before his custody changed his employment status? Not an over abundant amount of current information on the Tyson thread is why I'm asking. Hopefully that's a good thing. Maybe the drivers are staying busy enough to not have time to play around on a forum. lol
