I'm installing extra accessories on my 29 and the instructions say to solder the ground wire to the circuit board ground. I've never done this and don't want to assume and fry my radio so I was hoping some one here could show a picture of that solder point or know of a video that might show it? Thanks for any help you can offer.

In case anyone else needs the answer, I soldered it to one of the metal housings to one of the pots on the circuit board after opening up another radio that had similar. It's working and hasn't blown up yet.

I wouldn't solder anything to a pot, I would look for a ground.

If you need to know where one is, then trace the power ground coming into the radio and confirm it with an Ohm meter.

Easiest ground on a 29... Look for the crystal next to the coil on the right side of the radio as you are facing it. It's the 10.240 oscillagting Xtal. Its got a "lump" of solder connecting it to a coil (can). Solder a wire to that solder lump and your grounded. If that's not convienient, you can solder a wire to the metal case of any of the cans (metals cases coils) on the board. You should scrape the area of the can to insure a good ground as they are coated with a clear material.

FYI if you look on the PCB the Metal cased cans are marked with L part numbers. (i.e. L22, L24 etc.) You really cant miss em. Thy are square silver things with screw adjustments in the top.

29's are great radios. Worked on a few. As well as driving, I have been an electronics tech. Message me with other questions. Will help I can.
