SWR or S/RF

    After I have got my SWR all tuned in do I set my switch to S\RF for everyday use or do I run it in the SWR position

    Ok thanks ... There was a big debate at work.. That's what I told them but being the only female tri axle driver in a yard full of men drivers... Of course I was wrong,,,!!, think I will just let them think what they want.. Lol, all this time I knew I was right, thanks again

    To be honest, it makes zero difference in your signal. It only affects what the meter displays.

    Ditto on what MsJamie said.
    The only reason to run it on the SWR position might be to give you an early warning (outside of whatever fail safe/warning the radio may or may not have) if something were to go wrong.
