    Specs are

    • 6000 Watts Power Handling
    • 26MHz - 30MHz Frequency Range
    • 10 and 11 Meter Ready
    • Weather Band Reception
    • 49" Tunable 17-7 Stainless Steel Whip
    • PowerPlus Tip for Maximum Range and Clarity
    • Center Loaded 8-Gauge Copper Performance Coil, Unsurpassed Power Handling

K40 has always been a pretty good antenna. Wilson has been bought out by Barjan and I don't know if the quality has dropped or not. I liked the old Wilson's better than the old K40s, but I don't know that one performed any better than the other. The Wilosn whip is about 1 foot longer, longer is better IMHO, so the Wilson wins with me.

What do you need an Antenna with 6000 watt capability unless you are running that kind of power

That's what it says on the package. Truck drivers will believe it most of the time. 6000 watts in one of those antennas for more than 15 seconds would probably fry it.

6000 watts out of a mobile would probably cause a lot other problems as well......
