K40 has always been a pretty good antenna. Wilson has been bought out by Barjan and I don't know if the quality has dropped or not. I liked the old Wilson's better than the old K40s, but I don't know that one performed any better than the other. The Wilosn whip is about 1 foot longer, longer is better IMHO, so the Wilson wins with me.

I ended up buying a Wilson but I also bought the k40 but ill be putting it on my other truck, amazon had them on sale for $50 and free shipping. Can't beat that.

What do you need an Antenna with 6000 watt capability unless you are running that kind of power

i like k40 products i have their k40 magnet mounts

That's what it says on the package. Truck drivers will believe it most of the time. 6000 watts in one of those antennas for more than 15 seconds would probably fry it. -
