I picked up a used connex Cx-366ce, and after a trip to my radio guy it's definitely a keeper but I'd like to have the books on it. Anybody know where I can find them? Hours of searching the net has yielded me nothing for this particular radio

That's a little odd to me. I expected to find the connex website, if for nothing else to see all the models connex makes, when I googled it, but apparently connex does not have a website.

It's a good looking radio, especially when it's all lit up.

    Good luck on your search.

Thanks. When I bought it I thought it would be a good radio for learning about what makes these things tick. But after the trip to the shop then playing around with it I think I'm keeping this for my main and using my cobra 29 for a learning box

I don't know much about cb's because I only used one the first couple months of my career. There are many sites on this piticular style but couldn't find any manual.Think you may have to call them and ask if they can send or email you a manual. Here's 1 number,859-402-0440

That's GI Joe's radio shop in Berea, KY. They might be able to help. If they can't or won't, it might not be a bad idea to look up various radio shops (Bell's, Clay's, Bob's, and DTB are four that immediately come to mind) and call them and ask about a manual.

This is an excellent idea. The Cobra 29 is very popular for making modifications to, so there should be a tremendous amount of resources for you to educate yourself with.

Thanks alpha, I've already tried a couple shops, with no luck and I'll add yours to the list

I think the board is the same as a galaxy 949 and you can find info on that all day long.

Remember there isn't much difference between a lot of these radios, many of them have been designed or modified long ago and used in many different brands of radio so most of the time you can figure them out quickly.
