So i bought a new cb after giving my other one away to a driver. However i can barely here much and i dont think anyone can here me. However i am able to get a clear sound when it comes too noaa weather band. Considering i dont have much experience with the cb radio. I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Idk if it might be the antennas or if its something else.

Take it to a good shop or find another driver or somebody that can help you out. It isn't hard to learn with a little hands on. Best thing is try and talk to others that drive the same kind of truck you do. If they are running antennas other than stock, try to talk to them and find out why and how good of job they do. You might try and post your truck info here and get some good pointers as well.

If your using the factory antennas on the truck, get a Wilson 5000, then head to a reputable shop and have them check it out. I had a similar issue, they found my stock antenna just wasn't good enough. After antenna cost, it was $35 to peak and tune, then tune it to my vehicle. Took a whole 30 minutes

For the most part anything that comes with the truck (stock) is sub-par, coax, antenna and many times even the way you power the radio. The trick is finding the best antenna and mounting place on your particular truck. (Even among exact models it sometimes varies widely.) That is why I say look around and find out what others are doing that have a truck like yours, or go to a reputable shop and ask them. It would benefit you to find out what you need and get someone knowledgable to help you do the install and test everything.
