    Iwas refering to the top of the coil being even with the top of the tank as a minimum height. If your pulling the same trailer all the time you may find mid way (aprox center) to wok well.

    When I pulled a powder train I mounted the antenna on top of the ladder on the rear of the front trailer. Givens you a very good ground plane off both trailers. Antway glad you found something to work well.
