T/A Truck Stop
Wytheville, VA
These guys are rip off artists and price gougers. I bought a new Ranger 2970n2 and was overcharged almost $100 over what the price should have been. The radio had to be sent back to Ranger for warranty work because the alignment was all screwed up. Radio was drawing almost 60 amps on high power. Even the guys at Ranger were shocked at the price they charged me. Shop around and check prices before you buy from this hole.

Why did you by it if you knew you were getting over charged. That's your fault
Thanks for the warning thoughrabbiporkchop and jessejamesdallas Thank this. -
I didn't know it until after I bought it.

there is an extensive list on here about this very subject. just search for CB shop black list.
BlueThunderr Thanks this. -
Thanks for the heads up.

Are you surprised? Most, if not all CB shops in truck stops, overcharge on their radios.
Another to avoid is Mr. CB in the Petro at exit 28 Oak Grove MO. Aside from selling brand new General Lee's for $300, he also is known for butchering up radios and making them sound like pure crap.rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
Every retailer has a markup. This one seems excessive, though. I wouldn't trust any CB shop that is inside a truck stop. Actually, I only trust one and it is on Bardstown Road (a busy urban street in downtown Louisville)

Paging The Gryphon... he had a radio butchered by that shop.

Must be copper's electronics

Holy five year threadbump batman, and no, this isn't copper electronics.
jessejamesdallas Thanks this.
