Were you that second R+L driver, who was able to stop in time by chance? :)
Could you provide a little bit more info(who/what company driver(s) warned about that accident on CB, were they driving in opposite direction etc?)

Just to praise those, who did the right thing.

end dumps, flatbeds, and stick haulers/chip haulers seem to always run a cb. radio rambos do too. i have no idea how i know that but it is funny getting another driver so torn up that they want to pull over and fight.never any cuss words nor your momma junk, and certainly no "i'll kick your ###" stuff.no need in it. anytime that another driver gets that mad over words flowing through the air, they have real issues and cb rambo has won the game of wits once again.

often it is started by asking the lane blocker to move over to the slow lane if they can't run the speed limit.whew.that tears many of the "drivers",loosely used, up.they drive that slow truck and choose to block the truck hammer lane so why can't they handle the truth? but anyway.

gets one on down the road too.there are many useful and fun things that a cb radio can be used for and i always have mine on.

Ya see, now I flat out refuse to run a truck upon any road where the truck is incapable of achieving at least the posted speed limit. Want me to drive a 65 mph truck? That's fine...just don't expect to find me on any 70 mph roads. If you want me to run the 70 mph roads, turn the truck up to 70 or better. Got me down to 62? Now even the 65 mph roads are a no-go for me. I'm perfectly content running 2-lanes and back roads. Heck, I PREFER seeing small-town America as I criss-cross my way from place to place. Interstates bore the heck out of me. Right now, my truck is 0.1 mph shy of being able to run the speed limit on every road in the country and I still will run a 2-lane if I'm not rushed for time and have the option to do so. Govern my truck and I have all the more reason to run the roads I prefer anyway, since clearly the load isn't all that important. If it was, you'd have a truck hauling it that could run the speed limit. Studies have shown that the safest scenario is when ALL traffic is moving at a uniform speed...which is why so many states have moved to eliminate their split speed limits in recent years. I refuse to allow myself to contribute to the problem. If I can't run the speed limit, I won't be on the road. Period.

My CB radio is as valuable as my tools and my bible, i never leave without them.

I cannot count how many times my radio save me from being stuck in backups, also save others and me from being involve in accident.

Just today i used it while running in whiteout condition.

If you believe people don't use their radios anymore you should see what's going on here in Quebec, 95% of time peoples wont tell you anything about road conditions closure......but i refuse to be a part of that!

CB radio are simply a must in a truck!!!

My CB got me a parking spot yesterday in a crowded truck stop. I couldn't imagine running without one.
