I need a good shop that can do an install on the I-15 corridor will be travelling from sweet grass montana all the way down to la ive heard there are mobile techs who do installation work at truckstops or if I can pick a shop along the way would be better , I've gone with a Wilson 2000 trucker and Wilson mount and Wilson coax because it was all on special offer at the flying j I'm probably gonna go with a Wilson 5000 if the 2000 doesn't perforn well

Can't help you with the shops but the Wilson 2000 is a good antenna. The 5000 isn't necessarily a better antena it is just built to handle more power. So unless you running watts in or near the 1000's there really isn't an advantage to running the Wilson 5000. A decent radio, good coax, good ground with the Wilson 2000 will perform really well

I'm guessing the cable I bought is way more than I needed but I got a good deal maybe after a while i might go with a predator 10 k or monkey made

I had a predator 10k. Wasn't a bad antenna just complete overkill (like the Wilson 5000). Weather I am running my stock radio or my bigger radio I am very happy with the Wilson 2000. Still have the predator have no need to pull it out cause the Wilson performs so well. Also I am told (not speaking from experience cause I never used the predator in the winter) that the open coil antennas can ice up and cause problems.

Stick with the 2000 with good coax, good ground, and low swr it will perform well
