Searching for HyGain model number 674-A this unit came in a 23 channel back in the 70's name price time date and place to meet.
Note: It has quite a large jack on the back side of the unit that looks like a port for an ECU.

I don't have a 674-A but that jack on the rear was designed for a matching external VFO. Here's some information on the two of them. http://www.cbgazette.com/rev_hygainv.html

I didn't think they were that rare. Wow how much are they worth??

I don't know, I have a hygain radio with a hygain VFO and a matching ps that I think is in storage, but who knows. I've got a bunch of stuff (a cube truck full) from an estate sale 15 years ago, stuck everything in storage and that's where it sits today. after I got all of it, I sold off three pieces, a 1011d and a golden eagle and a CPI base with accessories that paid for the much of it. I do remember there was a bunch of odd stuff that could be considered "rare", a couple really weird radios comes to mine mind and a bunch of new stuff (like d104s and Turner mics), but I don't have the time to go through it or really want to at this point. -
Good news, well sorta. I found and bought the 40 channel version and gonna try to sell the 23 don't expect to get much but hey I tried.
So far I have the VFO the Co-Phaser and the radio the goodie box (tubes) all made by Hy-gain don't think they made a speaker will try to find one if they do got a the stock mike may not work too well in a truck and my mission will be complet, well sorta. Of course I will still be on the lookout for the elusive version with the VFO jack on the back I don't think it comes in a 40 channel version. But for now I'm kinda happy to have great pieces of CB history.
Now on to my other two projects. Ranger and Midland matches. Same situation gotta find all the stuff the company's made and put em all together for my car, pickup and possibly installation in a van.
I was on a Cobra 148F kick but that was too much for me then I just saw one had to be honest with the guy tell him he was cutting his own throat and he bumped up the price to about $475.00 it's worth it for a radio that's still in the box.
If I get a windfall I may snag it but for now I gotta stick with my plan I have started. -
Haven't got a beed on a value yet but I can tell you they are really a pain to chase down. I have even looked at far as Australia and even then I'm catching flack.
