What is the best radio on the market today?

I have only bought one in my entire career, a President Teddy R., years ago... It's like the Eveready bunny! It has quite a few million miles on it and still looks and works like new. You can still find new (old stock) on eBay from the 1980s... but they ain't cheap!

Yeap im pleased with it..cb radio magizine said it sound tested best with stock mic but i got an asatic...Alot of positive words about it..

 

Yeah KC,i have thought of douing something along those lines when i see the high tech set up of some ham guys..I figure i dont need to tal;k that much..lol

 

KC9 RD0 how would you rate your quad 5?

I am in the market for a new radio, was waiting on the come back of RCI but things keep delayed.....i wanted to buy the 2970N2 but i don't care going for lower pwr could always buy a linear later.

Anyways let's get back to the quad 5 how's receiving? Audio report? Etc etc etc.
