Have a factory spec Cobra 29
    New Wilson Trucker 2000 4'
Factory wiring, recently cleaned and regrounded.

Was having antenna warnings on CB with Fire Stick 2 recently and diagnosed a bad ground, loose mount bolt.
Installed the new antenna, not receiving the warning.

Taking this radio into the shop at Gary Flying J to Tweak and Peak radio and install new coax and mounts.
I'm thinking about Co-phasing this set up.

    Any advice welcome in this.
    Thanks.

Dual antennas work, but try to keep about 9 feet of each other.
(1/4 wavelength of 27mhz is about 9 feet)
When running Duals - the antennas increase their gain forward and aft of the truck at the expense of some power to the sides... the signal to the side is about 1/2 an S unit lower....

I learned I can absolutely trust the shop in Gary at Flying J. They talked me out of it.
They tuned my radio and checked wiring. All problems cleared up for 50.00
Very happy. Buying a better radio in two weeks.

A "better" radio? Maybe one with more doodads and features, but better? I seriously doubt that based on my experience. :D
