I can believe no one post about it. Some of the people who post in here are some of the best when it comes down to radio knowledge. And we are not going by just hear say. Many of us can repair and Mod radios. So it could be that they're only talking about hands on and not what someone else said. And myself after being a Wilson guy for 17 years I've found something much better. And I have replaced all of my mobile antennas with one that gives me much more distance than the Wilsons 1000, 2000, and 5000 that I own. And the Antenna is the real backbone of any radio system that you can run.

    Bout Z Thanks this.

It's not rebadged, they come from different factories. I have one on my car and had a Wilson in the past. Side by side. there are subtile differences. Performance on the Stryker seems as good or better and unlike my Wilson the coil didn't fill up with water.

I called them when I bought mine and they said while very similar, it's not exactly the same. Do you honestly think Wilson would be selling to a company and then let them be marketed for less?

Yep...and that's when Wilson's quality started going down-hill...same thing happened with Road King.

And astatic, and francis, and diesel...they had the cb market cornered for a while. I don't think barjan is in buisness anymore, not sure who owns these brands now.
