I turn mine off before I get to a truck stop just so I DON'T have to hear a bunch of idiots running their mouths.
HalpinUout Thanks this. -
But it's hilarious, it's too tempting
Blaskowitz Thanks this. -
My trainer had it, I never heard any good helpful sounds coming out of that speaker, on the road or in the truck stops. Truckers are mean as ####, other day I asked driver to show me how to change back side light, he flipped out on me like I try to steal his truck. So, far what's called being experience means, I know it but you don't and it's to bad cause I don't have for you. I personally have everything in my truck from dash cam to you name it, except cb.

Do not leave home without it.Blaskowitz, mike5511 and nshore harleyguy Thank this. -
Now that was worth a listen. Haha

I think that all those idiots that make the queer sounds in the truck stops need to be located and given some instruction.
I was in the Post Falls Luvs the other day and there were maybe 30 trucks in there. It was not 3 minutes later some ####### started in on the CB. I turned it off until I left 10 minutes later. These are supposed to be adults in these trucks but they act like 13 year old kids laughing over a loud fart.
I hardly hear anything unless I am near a truck stop.... Oh and those with the echo mics and the ones that beep .... Get rid of that crap one is annoying and the other makes it harder to hear.Blaskowitz, catalinaflyer and skootertrashr6 Thank this. -
any East Coasters still hear Blade Runner out of Maybrook/Montgomery NY selling his knifes on the air? I miss that guy.

I leave mine on when driving but shut it off when I park. I keep the volume low enough that I don't have to listen to the crap but I can hear if someone is trying to warn of a hazard. Many times it has helped me avoid traffic and accidents. I think it helps that I generally run at night, seems like there's more of the good ole boys out then and less of the trash.
SteelWheelin Thanks this.
