Does anybody know where I can find a galaxy 44 radio. The older ones. I can't remember exactly the model but they have a side mic Mount with red lighting. And I do know that people that have them but don't want to get rid of them because you can't find them anymore. And I slip seat and one of the trucks I drive the driver has one and it is by far the best radio in a truck I've ever drove. Can anybody help!!!

See them on ebay every once in a while. You might look for a mirage 44 also, they were the same radio.

I have a marige 44. When it works its great. Dad got it in the mid 90's, he had trouble with it, put it on the shelf years ago. I got it out a couple of weeks ago. replaced the finals in, worked great for a day or two. Its on the shelf again. I haven't taken it back in again to see what happned.

I have a Galaxy 44 also. I might be willing to part with it.

I think this may be what you're looking for. The channel indicator is red.

I buy used radios all the time....if the price is right.....even ones that don't work. What do you want for it, including the shipping?

I used to have a Galaxy 44 and it's twin brother, the Mirage 44. I bought mine used for $50 at a hamfest, and sold them for more than twice what I paid for them, when I got tired of them. The new owners went nuts over them. All for a so-so radio.
